In the city you cannot actually walk on the pavement, because that is where everyone parks their cars. So little old pedestrian (me) has to walk in the road... the Actual domain of the car to get beeped at and feet nearly run over on a regular basis. When the walk from our house to the centre of the city is 45 minutes that can really get up your nose. When I speak of parking on the pavement I am not just talking 2 wheels on the kerb, I am talking the entire width of the pavement blocked by each vehicle.
Rant over. There are many pet peeves developing, but this one is already fully fledged. As others develop I will, no doubt, feel the need to unburden myself then too.
Maybe you are meant to walk over the cars like they do in the UK on a friday night at pub chuck out time? lol! :) xxx
